Thick, super absorbent pads consist of three key layers:
* soft outer non-woven layer,
* fluff filler to absorb and disperse fluid and
* wet-proof moisture barrier to prevent fluid strikethrough
Cushions draining wounds, burns and prevents skin maceration (breakdown)
Unique wet-proof moisture barrier helps minimize exposure to blood-borne pathogens
Absorbs more fluid than ordinary abdominal pads for fewer dressing changes
Can be folded or stacked to accommodate the size of the wound and the required absorbency
All four edges are sealed to prevent lint residue and leaking
Outer layer facing has a topside indicator stripe for proper application
